The Kiwanis Club of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada and the YCP1 committee
promotes Child Safety through the distribution of the “Kiwanis Child Safety
Kit”.
These Kits are given to mothers of newborn babies. The kit
contains written safety material from various child agencies and government departments
and includes a CHILD CHOKE TUBE.
The choke tube is used to identify potentially
dangerous household items, which an infant could choke on (small toys or toy parts, coins,
erasers, keys etc.)
